Sure Start is the Government’s programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together services for children and families. The aim is to have a Sure Start Centre in every community. We were commissioned to design a comprehensive guide detailing the method of planning and building a centre to the appropriate standards and outlining all required facilities. 

The guide comprises a double-pocketed folder containing one manual for architects and contractors and another for the clients commissioning the build. Within each manual the information is set out with a logical hierarchy of type to help the reader navigate through a complex process with ease. A good balance of diagrams, infographics and photographs provide further clarity.
